Mrs. Sarah E. Jacks, mother of Mrs. Jas. Doolin and Mrs. JW Jenkins died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lydia Lehr, Hamburg, Iowa Dec 27. Death was caused by heart trouble. The body was brought to Catlin and interred there on Friday Dec 30 after funeral services at Mt. Olive Church conducted by Rev. Ridley Beall. Mrs. Jacks was over 81 years of age and was the wife of Silas Jacks who met with a tragic death near Rockville a few months ago. - kbz
